Welcome! Akwaaba!
Thank you for taking the time to visit our website-an opportunity to take a glimpse at South Africa from the comfort of home, office or wherever else you may be. I have no doubt that after you visit the website you will be motivated to visit our beautiful country and enjoy the sights and sounds of Emzantsi.

Let me introduce myself to you, the visitors to our website. My name is Jeanette Thokozile Ndhlovu. I have served as South Africa's diplomat first as Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations-New York and then as Consul General in Los Angeles, California. I am a proud mother of two daughters, Lesedi Mbatha and Moira Ndlovu, both students at universities in the United States of America.

My arrival in Accra-Ghana on the eve of the 2010 FIFA World Cup has been unbelievably exciting. I assumed my position in Ghana on the 6th April 2010 and immediately embarked on a journey of promoting South Africa and the FIFA World Cup.

The people of Ghana have been extremely welcoming to me and ready to work with our team to promote Tourism, Trade and Investment, Cultural and people to people contact between the peoples of our two countries.

I hope that the bonds of friendship between the governments and peoples of South Africa and Ghana will continue to grow as we strive to pursue our mutual goals of promoting the development of Africa that is prosperous, peaceful and just during my tour of duty in Ghana-the home of Kwame (please insert other names) Nkrumah and Pan Africanism.

I hope that you will not only enjoy the website but that you will also find it useful. If you do not find the information you need please do not hesitate to ask any of our staff members to assist you.
