Lithuanian passport holders require VISA to enter South Africa. Applications should be made at the South African Embassy in Stockholm.

General Information:

It is furthermore important to note that in order to enter South Africa the passports must be valid for at least 30 days on leaving the RSA (§2(3) Immigration Act, Act 13 of 2002) and should contain at least two unused pages (§2(1) (d) Immigration Regulations of Immigration Act, Act 13 of 2002) for the endorsement at Passport control. Visitor’s permits will be endorsed into the passports at Passport Control at the South African Port of Entry.

Further requirements are that a person should also be in possession of a valid return ticket, proof of accommodation and proof of financial means which shall be in the form of a recently issued bank certified statement, for the last three (3) months. For an enquiry regarding the possibility of extending a visa, contact should be made with the nearest Visa Facilitation Centre in South Africa at least 60 days before the visa expires.
