Deputy President attends a friendly Match between South Africa and Australia

Deputy President Jacob Zuma will tomorrow, 9 February 2005, attend the friendly match between South Africa and Australia at the ABSA Stadium, Durban.

The Deputy President will participate in the "meet-and-greet" procession of the players.

South Africa and Australia have very warm bilateral relations, and the two countries are looking to further strengthen relations in various areas including trade and sport.

Deputy President Zuma wishes both teams well, and expects an outstanding performance from Bafana Bafana.

The game starts at 20h30 at the ABSA Stadium in Durban.
