DR P.W.A MULDER (FF PLUS)TO ASK THE MINISTER OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS:

(1) Whether the Government has concluded any bilateral or multilateral agreements with foreign governments to regulate or control sovereign fund transactions in the local economy; if so, (a) what agreements were concluded and (b) with which countries; if not,  
(2) Whether the Government is planning to take any steps to regulate the practice of sovereign fund transactions in the local market by way of bilateral or multilateral agreements; if not, why not; if so, what steps?

National Treasury, in whose line function the question resides.
