Deputy Director: Organisational Development
Total salary package:
R378 456 per annum. This all-inclusive remuneration package consists of a basic salary, the State’s contribution to the Government Employees Pension Fund and a flexible portion that may be structured in terms of the applicable rules. The successful candidate will be required to sign a performance contract (Ref. 68052/1)
Requirements:
- Applicants should be in possession of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Human Resources/Behavioural Sciences/Industrial Psychology
- Relevant experience in the field of Organisational Development
- General knowledge of HR functions
- A full understanding of relevant labour legislation, Public Service prescripts and the PFMA.

- Knowledge of Organisational Development models, approaches and diagnostic tools
- The ability to design and implement OD processes and interventions
- An in-depth understanding of and skill in Change Management application
- The ability to integrate change management methodologies in Organisational Development processes and interventions

- Analytical ability

Duties:
- Provide Organisational Development consulting services to Branches within the Organisation
- Diagnose, design and implement appropriate OD interventions
- Assess current systems and practices and make recommendations to Management
- Market the services of Organisational Development in the Department
- Design, develop and implement monitoring and evaluation mechanisms
- Facilitate workshops that will address Organisational Development, Organisational Behaviour, Leadership and Performance challenges in business units
- Benchmark and establish best practices in the Department
- Provide ongoing communication and feedback to stakeholders
- Establish strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
- Assist with the planning and budgeting process of the Directorate.
Deputy Director: Transformation

- Manage the Transformation and Employment Equity processes, systems and strategies
- Provide guidance to managers in the planning and management of transformation
- Facilitate Transformation workshops aimed at enhancing Organisational Behaviour and Leadership in business units
- Consult with relevant stakeholders
- Facilitate Organisational Development and Transformation processes
- Monitor and control Transformation processes
- Provide ongoing communication/feedback to stakeholders
- Establish strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
- Assist with the planning and budgeting process of the Directorate.
