Info Visa Requirements for South Africans Visas are required
by South African passport holders. Visas can be issued on arrival if prior authorisation
has been reached with the Equatorial Guinean Foreign Ministry in Malabo. The

yellow fever certificate is required. Malaria is a high risk throughout the year.

Info Equatorial Guinea is a member of the "Communauté Financière
Africaine" (African Financial Community) or CFA Franc Zone, made up of a
group of West and Central African nations. The CFA, which is the only legal
tender, is not freely convertible. It was on a fixed exchange rate with the French
Franc but is now on a fixed exchange rate with the Euro, namely 1 Euro = + - 656
