A very warm welcome to the High Commission’s Website. Here you would find information about the High Commission and the people working here, what we do and what consular services we could offer.

The Mission in Port of Spain is also accredited to Barbados, Grenada, Guyana, saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, and Suriname. This means that the High Commissioner and/or other staff members need to travel to those countries to maintain our bilateral relations, and to look for opportunities that could assist in further enhancing the warm and friendly relations that so happily already exist.
Our focus is not only on bilateral political relations but on expanding economic diplomacy, and people-to-people relations. The Mission also has the task of interacting with and observing the workings of the Caribbean Economic Commission (CARICOM).

For our citizens working and living in the countries mentioned, these pages contain information about consular matters including among others, passports, registration of births, certification of documents and so forth. The High Commission is your link to the Department of Home Affairs in South Africa.
For citizens of Trinidad and Tobago and other accredited countries, we provide several links to assist with research and further gathering of information. The links would expose the reader to a large and most diverse economy offering ever-increasing business and investment opportunities.
