Participated in the formalisation of the establishment of the Defence Management Programme at the University of Witwatersrand

Member of the Editorial Board for the new book on the South African National Defence Force

2000-2007 - South African Member of the Military Court of Appeals

2001 - Facilitated the transformation of the Tanzanian, Mauritius, Seychelles
and Zambian Defence Forces as a project of the Defence Sector Transformation of the Institute of Security Studies in Arusha, Tanzania

2002 - Facilitated the transformation of the Ugandan Defence Force in order
to draw up their Defence Review and the White Paper on Defence in Kampala, Uganda

Facilitated a leadership course to the Department of Communications/Intelligence Students at the Military Academy in Saldanha

2009-2012 - Led Capacity Building Programme of ENA in the DRC
